Taylor Swift’s newest album, The Life of a Showgirl, dropped on Friday, and so did her reputation as a songwriter.

Some major critics have panned the album as an unbearable listen, but others have given it a perfect score, which a slew of Twitter users have attributed to “mass psychosis” and the desperate need for a thumbs-down button on Spotify.

Even Swift’s most rabid fans haven’t been able to rationalize what are sure to be the pop star’s worst lyrics yet, and are on Twitter actively conceding to her haters. One fan asked if Swift “had a carbon monoxide leak at her house,” but others blamed Travis Kelce, asking if she was “using basic rhyme schemes so he could understand,” and speculating that the pop star has contracted a case of “sexually-transmitted CTE.”
