On Wednesday, the fast-food chain continued the time-honored brand Twitter tradition of trying to resurrect the worst social media trends, offering their months-late take on the bygone “start digging in yo butt, twin” meme. 

“Start diggin in yo hut twin,” read a post shared to their official Twitter page. 

Instead of drawing C-tier pizza lovers to their red-roofed restaurants, the post had a different effect, leaving Twitter users wondering how and why this terrible post came to be. “Excuse me???” asked one fan, while another speculated on the mind-numbing bureaucracy behind the mediocre post. “For sure took them a full 2 months to get this approved and vetted by their legal team,” they joked.
