Quentin Tarantino created modern film classics like Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill, but he can still appreciate the art of bad movies. 

On an episode of the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Jason Bateman told Josh Horowitz that Tarantino is a huge fan of Teen Wolf Too, and approached Bateman on a night out to tell him how he believed the critically-panned fantasy flick was actually a “great movie.” “He started going on (about it),” Bateman remembered. “It just goes to show you there’s something in every film for everybody.”

The team behind High Potential are also fans of lowbrow comedy. Showrunner Todd Harthan recently confirmed that the show’s new season would pay tribute to Kaitlin Olson’s roots as Dee Reynolds in It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. “There’s a couple of nods and winks here and there, little Easter eggs,” Harthan said, noting that Olson snuck in a few Paddy’s Pub references of her own.
