49 of the Funniest Burns from the Week of August 25, 2025

‘He has such a Star Wars name’

This week, Lana Del Rey took a break from beefing with Ethel Cain and making out with Morgan Wallen to grace the cover of W Magazine

While allegedly serving as the face of the publication’s fashion issue, Del Rey’s knit pink gown, tightly coiffed curls and Khloe Kardashian-levels of photoshop failed to convey style and glamor. Del Rey’s look, fans argued, appeared to be plucked not from the runway, but from the depths of the “uncanny valley.”

“She looks like Mr. Burns,” one fan wrote of Del Rey’s uncharacteristically spindly features, while a second likened her to the “food critic from Ratatouille.”

To others, however, the singer’s tacky outfit sent a much worse message than “Springfield supervillain.” “She looks more racist than usual,” they joked

As W Magazine’s styling team reflects on its poor choices, we can laugh at the week’s other brutal burns. The funniest skewered Bill Burr’s side hustle, bad financial advice and Google’s terribly aged motto.
