For Jessica Williams, starring on Saturday Night Live was far from a dream come true. 

The comedian recently revealed why she chose The Daily Show over SNL, telling Conan O’Brien that she preferred Jon Stewart’s kind approach over the sketch series’ famously cutthroat environment. “The Daily Show was a great fit because I’m really gentle and, like, very sensitive and I needed someone to be really nice to me,” the Shrinking star explained. “I do a lot better when people are nicer to me, I don’t thrive when someone’s withholding.”

Meanwhile, King of the Hill appears to be a great fit for Hulu. The sitcom reportedly raked in roughly $100 million for the streamer since the first quarter of 2020, earning about as much as American Dad, and slightly less than Futurama, which brought in approximately $120 million.
