‘Guy who’s back in Chicago: I feel it’

Ozzy Osbourne will go down in rock-and-roll history as the bat-biting frontman of Black Sabbath, but the late artist had another claim to fame among Conan O’Brien’s staffers.

In 2001, O’Brien tapped the rocker to boost the Late Night team’s morale in the aftermath of 9/11, tasking Ozzy with offering neck massages, bonding with one staffer’s pet bird, and most importantly, giving his hottest takes on which ‘70s crooner is secretly the Antichrist. “Barry Manilow is my biggest fear,” Ozzy said during the segment. “I think he’s the Antichrist.”

Meanwhile, professional golfer Mark Lye is sharing his thoughts about one of Hollywood’s biggest stars. Days ahead of Happy Gilmore 2’s Netflix debut, Lye discussed what it was like working as a golf consultant on the original 1996 comedy and turning Adam Sandler into golf-star material. “Adam Sandler is, of course, extremely talented, but very kind of meek until the cameras are rolling,” Lye recalled. “Then he comes into this completely different, almost body invasion that’s funny and just crazy.”

Today’s best tweets are similarly funny and crazy, and the wildest include those about the benefits of a toxic situationship, getting hot goss from Venmo and the personal decision of how to train one’s dragon.
