Al and Peg Bundy were married with children, but for a moment, they had one kid too many. In a newly unearthed interview with Remind Magazine, the Married… with Children cast and crew discussed the show’s decision to introduce Seven, Peggy’s cousin’s kid, dubbing the casting as “awful” and “the worst mistake they ever made.”
“The kid — and God bless his soul, I mean, I’m sure he’s talented at something else — he just wasn’t an actor,” David Faustino recalled of child star Shane Sweet. “Like, he had no fucking clue what he was doing. So consequently, he got fired. It’s a cold business out there. I don’t care if you’re five — you’re getting fired.”
The cast of South Park is also reflecting on the series’ choices. During a recent interview with Cracked, Brandon Hardesty reminisced about his time playing the live-action version of Eric Cartman in the now-iconic episode “I Should Have Never Gone Ziplining,” detailing the one gag that left him and his co-stars with a bad case of the giggles. Or as he put it, “There were a few times when I said some line and then Kenny’s like, ‘Hey, fuck you’ and they zoom in on his face,” saying the joke broke them several times. “We couldn’t stop laughing.”
After a faux talking to from Trey Parker, the actors were able to finish the scene in relative peace. “Trey was like, ‘All right guys, let’s get it together. Come on,’” he remembered. “We were fine after that.”
Much like Hardesty and the live-action gang, you may need someone to help you stop laughing at these hilarious tweets, the funniest of which include those about a British travel itinerary, Steve Rogers kinks and modern-day jesters.
