I mean, that is how you say it…

Amid all the questions surrounding Pope Francis’ death — What were his final moments like? Who will replace the Pontiff? How long until JD Vance is formally charged with papicide? — Jimmy Fallon had a burning inquiry of his own: “How can I make this about me?”

In the wake of the Pope’s passing, the late-night host headed to social media with a tribute to the late religious leader, which in typical Fallon fashion came with a dose of self-congratulation. “It was an honor meeting Pope Francis last summer. I’m glad I made you laugh,” Fallon captioned a photo of the pair. “Thank you for your encouraging words. Rest in peace.”

As the internet rips Fallon to shreds, fans of Columbo are yearning for what could have been: Peter Sellers’ near-guest spot on the beloved crime drama. According to Columbo blog The Columbophile, showrunners considered casting the late Pink Panther star for a role in 1974’s “Negative Reaction,” but ran into a problem: his demand of $360,000. Considering this sum was “18 times the most the show had ever paid for a guest star,” the producers looked elsewhere to cast the part, tapping the legendary Dick Van Dyke instead.

Unlike Sellers’ fee, these hilarious tweets won’t cost you a penny. Today’s funniest include those about scared pasta, Québécois Coca-Cola and a “Kronklave.”
