Amid the chaos, one Twitter user shared an astute observation from their workplace Slack channel: Maybe all the panicked investors, concerned workers and near-retirees mourning their 401Ks are simply looking at “Liberation Day” the wrong way. “Perhaps Trump meant liberation in a Buddhist sense — Liberation from my material possessions,” read the message.
