Rockefeller Center’s famous Christmas tree won’t be the only thing lighting up the plaza this month; SNL has announced a merry slate of hosts for December’s lineup. Paul Mescal will make his hosting debut when the show returns from its holiday hiatus this weekend, then some familiar faces will take up the mantle the following weeks—Chris Rock is set to return for his fourth time as host, while Martin Short will wrap up the 2024 shows by officially joining the Five-Timers Club. The three new episodes will also feature first-time performances from musical guests Shaboozey and Gracie Abrams, and a second performance for Hozier.

In a statement, Golden Globes president Helen Hoehne noted that Danson “has entertained audiences for decades with his iconic performances that will forever be ingrained in television history.”
