Kathy Griffin might have found a golden ticket to free her from the blacklist. During a recent episode of Politickin' with Gavin Newsom, Marshawn Lynch and Doug Hendrickson, the comedian joked that she should be the next Golden Bachelorette. Naturally, her pitch for “ratings gold” wasn’t exactly network-TV friendly, but Entertainment Weekly reported that it caught the ear of an ABC insider who could be interested in meeting with the twice-divorced My Life on the D-List star. Maybe the third time’s the charm. 

Elsewhere, Margot Robbie is still fixated on the negative response to one of her films. The Barbie actress appeared on the Talking Pictures podcast and admitted to being confused about Babylon flopping, saying, “I know I’m biased because I’m very close to the project, and so obviously I believe in it. But I still can’t figure out why people really hated it.” She went on to hypothesize that audiences may warm up to it in 20 years, likening it to Shawshank Redemption, which also “was a failure at the time.”
