For weeks, they had classmates lining up to be the designated wheelchair pusher of the day, eventually crowning the cutest boy in class as their personal chauffeur, while “the rest of the unwashed masses” were constantly clamoring to be selected for service. 

Of course, their brief reign came to an end when their cast was removed, but they’ll never forget being royalty for those few fleeting weeks.
