During Entertainment Weekly’s Reunions video series with Robert Zemeckis, Tom Hanks and Robin Wright, Hanks shared that Eric Roth’s early draft of Forrest Gump “had all sorts of like angels flying up, and dreamscapes,” which included Curious George talking to Forrest throughout the film.
