Robert Zemeckis isn’t going back to the future anytime soon. The Oscar-winning director just returned to the big screen with Here, a multigenerational story about families that live in the same house over the course of a century, but that’s the only time traveling he plans on doing. During an appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Zemeckis fielded host Josh Horowitz’s question about revisiting Back to the Future, and explained that Universal Studios regularly inquires about whether or not there is more gas in the DeLorean. But for Zemeckis, a remake or Back to the Future 4 “just isn’t in the cards.”
Meanwhile, Brooke Shields got a little blast from the past this weekend courtesy of SNL. When John Mulaney returned to the show for his sixth hosting gig, one of the promotional stills included a near-exact recreation of the model’s controversial 1980 Calvin Klein ad — complete with skinny jeans and a little black boot. Upon seeing the image, Shields took to Instagram with a side-by-side comparison and the caption, “I see no difference… I guess they can be your Calvins too.”
