It’s official: A second Abbott Elementary and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia crossover will now hit Paddy’s Pub. After it was confirmed that the Gang would pay a visit to Abbott Elementary during the ABC series’ fourth season, we learned that the Abbott staff would return the favor and guest star in an episode of Always Sunny next season, meaning that viewers will be blessed with a double dose of the Philly-based shows. As expected, though, not everyone is happy about it, with members of the Always Sunny fandom complaining that they’re already sick of the crossover hype. 

In other news this week, the verdict is official on Jay Johnston, as the voice behind Jimmy Pesto Sr. was sentenced to a year in prison for his part in the January 6th insurrection. And in the world of video-game adaptations, cholera and dysentery are headed to the big screen. Oregon Trail is taking on a new shape with the help of Blades of Glory directors Josh Gordon and Will Speck. Even more bizarre than the project’s existence is the fact that it will contain some sort of musical element, as EGOT-recipients Benj Pasek and Justin Paul are getting in the wagons to provide musical accompaniment.
