We all have our own gods

Therapy is back in session at Apple.

Just a day after Shrinking’s Season Two premiere, co-creator Brett Goldstein and star Jason Segel took to the Main Stage of New York Comic Con to announce that the traumedy had been renewed by the streamer, which aligns with co-creator Bill Lawrence’s long-standing three-season plan for the show that brought Harrison Ford one of his first recurring TV roles and Jessica Williams her first Emmy nomination. That said, Lawrence has now said that he wouldn’t mind exploring the Shrinking world for a fourth season and beyond.

Back in 2008, Fox decided that it didn’t want seconds of the Kelsey Grammer/Patricia Heaton-led sitcom Back to You, and co-star Josh Gad found out in the worst possible way ever. The Frozen actor joined Jesse Tyler Ferguson on his Dinner’s on Me podcast and shared that shortly after he traded vows with his now-wife — as in just after they said “I do” — the powers that be decided to cancel the show. Gad’s immediate thought: “Why did I agree to pay for this wedding?”

Over on the timeline, the hilarity is definitely here to stay. Today’s funniest tweets include those about the great gamble of a 5 p.m. cup of coffee, China’s puffiest delicacy and the difference between a beer at a restaurant and a beer at home.
