65 Random Trivia Tidbits That Should Be Their Own Blizzard Flavor

The world’s most expensive parking spot, revealed

A Dairy Queen Blizzard is supposed to be so thick that it can safely be turned upside-down, and company policy dictates that staff do so once per order. If they dont, and you call them on it, youre supposed to get a coupon for a free one.

Interestingly, the Blizzard isnt technically ice cream. In fact, Dairy Queen cant legally call its frozen dairy products ice cream because the FDA requires products claiming to be ice cream to possess a butterfat content of at least 10 percent. DQs are only 5 percent.

This, however, hasnt stopped the Blizzard’s spread. Started in 1985, the frosty treat has amassed a total of more than 170 flavors over the last four decades. Which is why, in its honor, weve assembled an incredible slurry of delicious trivia that should be its own Blizzard flavor for you to enjoy.

And yes, we turned it upside-down. We turn all our trivia sets upside-down before posting them.
