The cast and crew of Inside Out 2 are feeling a lot of positive emotions right now. In just six weeks, the Pixar sequel skipped its way to the top of the record books, becoming the highest-grossing animated film of all time. In doing so, it surpassed a pair of Frozen flicks and last year’s smash hit The Super Mario Bros. Movie, with an impressive worldwide box-office take of $1.46 billion and counting. Not only did Riley and her emotions help Pixar reclaim the top spot, but the movie is also the first film of 2024 to cross the billion-dollar mark.

Meanwhile, another emotion is sabotaging a potential Facts of Life revival: greed. Mindy Cohn, who played Natalie Green in all nine seasons of the sitcom, was recently a guest on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live and revealed that the late Norman Lear approached the cast about reviving the Diff’rent Strokes spin-off following a positive response from ABC’s Live in Front of a Studio Audience special where episodes from the two shows were re-created. Following the suggestion, the cast “started to consider” a reunion series, but it ultimately never came to fruition as Cohn revealed that one of her co-stars “devastated” the cast by trying to “make a separate deal for a spin-off just for herself.” While Cohn never revealed the culprit, she did provide a few hints to narrow down who is responsible for ruining 40 years of sisterhood.
