Joe Biden hasn’t had the greatest week. Hell, he barely had a good moment. 

NATO welcomed a number of heads of state to its annual summit in D.C., ostensibly the president’s home turf. And so, for all intents and purposes, Biden should have been on his A game. Unfortunately for him, he was anything but. He accidentally introduced Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as “President Putin,” and he referred to Kamala Harris as “Vice President Trump.” 

But perhaps his worst crime of all was arriving late. While awaiting a tardy Biden, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni rolled her eyes and checked a nonexistent watch for the time. The timeline certainly clocked her actions and were furious with the president for giving the Italians the material to mock us with.

The only good news for Biden this week? He was far from the only one to feel the internet’s wrath. Other digital burn victims included a reality TV star’s 7-Eleven kitchen, the last remaining BeReal user and the real way to celebrate Forgiveness Day.
