Meanwhile, the Juice expired with the passing of Naked Gun star O.J. Simpson, who lost his battle with prostate cancer at the age of 76. And in more confusing news, Kendrick Lamar is giving us something to celebrate on Independence Day 2025.
The Grammy-winning rapper has teamed up with South Park’s Trey Parker and Matt Stone for a still-untitled musical that Paramount CEO Brian Robbins described as “one of the funniest and most original scripts we’ve ever read.” The South Park duo, however, are merely serving as producers, as the dark comedy was written by Wonder Showzen creator Vernon Chatman. No other details have been announced, but the original plot description when the project was first announced in 2022 describes the film as following a young Black man interning as a slave reenactor at a living history museum who discovers that his white girlfriend’s ancestors once owned his.
