Twitter introduced “Community Notes” to combat misinformation by allowing users to “collaboratively add context to potentially misleading posts.” While the fact-checking feature has been readily adopted and widely used for its intended purpose, it’s also become something of a playground for jabs, roasts and brutal takedowns.
