Sure, for years, Twitter had been a bit of a mental minefield, an asteroid field of scams, grifters, poorly optimized video and clumsy engagement bait. Still, occasionally, the most determined take-panners could shake through the silt to find a good joke here and there. That hope is dead, and even Twitter’s most stalwart good-faith users have pushed themselves away from its hospital bed, and mostly gone over to Bluesky.
Of course, though dedicated shitposters are happy to have found a new home, there’s still a sadness at all the perfect, idiotic thoughts that were clutched in the hand of Twitter’s corpse. In some case, they’re gone completely, original accounts wiped or deleted.
