The 2024 Summer Olympics are underway in Paris, and sports of all stripes are being fiercely contested. One sport, however, isn’t quite ready for primetime, and so, it will debut in the 2028 Summer Olympics instead: flag football. News that’s incredibly good for America’s future medal count, given that football is another sport that we’re overwhelmingly dominant in. It’s called “American Football” everywhere else in the world, after all. 

Even more than basketball, our usual Olympic stomping ground, it’s a tall order for foreign squads to take on the NFL’s best and biggest fellas.
